Teatown is a 1,000-acre preserve with 230 species of native wildflowers. We will be visiting the two-acre Wildflower Island, a refuge that is home to an amazing array of wildflowers, trees, shrubs, ferns, grasses, sedges, and rushes. Because it is on an island, this two acre jewel has become a sanctuary for species that are now under huge pressure from our deer population. We will be led by volunteers through the winding trails to see what is in bloom and to learn more about this spectacular preserve.

This event is free but requires registration. Information on the event will be shared with all who register.
