Public Welcome Free Event Hands-On/How-To Workshop Seed Handling Public Restroom Free Public Parking Lots of Physical Activity
The Preserve at Vassar and Wild Ones Mid-Hudson Valley are working to amplify the supply of native seeds across the Hudson Valley, and teaching others how to do the same.
Join us for a workshop where you can harvest seeds from the Vassar College seed amplification plots and design your own seed mix to take home. We’ll cover best practices for wild seed collection and share some of the ways seeds are being used to strengthen native plant communities in our area and beyond.
There are two workshop sessions, please choose which session you would like when registering:
Saturday, Sept. 19 10-12 pm and
Wednesday, Sept. 23, 3-5 pm
